Rahila Haidari completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Murdoch University in 2020 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law in July 2020. Rahila was admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Western Australian in August 2020 and commenced working with Johnstone Crouse Lawyers in May 2021.
During her time at university, Rahila has participated in international conferences at the United Nations in New York and Humanitarian Affairs in Hong Kong. Rahila has undertaken semester exchange studies to Indonesia and Switzerland.
Rahila has gained experience in various Community Legal Centres and private practice, including areas such as Employment Law, Criminal Law, Family Law and Wills & Estates.
Rahila’s greatest assets are her tenacity in defending her clients and her compassion for helping those who need it. This unwillingness to back down from adversity stems from her journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan to her perseverance in becoming a Lawyer.
Rahila has made it her mission to be ‘a lamp, a lifeboat, a ladder’ to help others through their dark times.
